Marine
The marine environment is a hostile one. Seawater is corrosive, and exposure to UV light is high. Silicone rubber stands up well in these conditions, and SFS has several products that are suitable for marine use.
Typical Uses:
- Marine engine hoses.
- Glazing seals for portholes, windscreens, windows, doorways.
- Electrical enclosure seals for navigation equipment.
- Underwater light seals for fish farms.
- Fluoro-silicone sponge for off-shore use.
